Perfect location in Beijing. Super easy to get anywhere and is so conveniently located. Forbidden city is just across the street with great food options & train just around the corner. Room was nice and clean & bathroom had everything one needs.

- • The beds are hard which I was fine with but if you need a softer night sleep you may have to roll out another blanket
A hotel in a perfect location for touristing in Beijing. adequate facilities without being great.
There location was excellent, the nearby restaurants and cafes excellent, ambience of location fabulous and the hotel itself acceptable but could do with some improvements.

- • The first room offered to us smelt badly of smoke from cigarettes. Our replacement room was fresh and clean. Some others staying in the hotel reported peeling wallpaper, bad smells and not so clean. Beds in all rooms are extremely hard - leading to restless sleep and aching muscles/joints. Generally we enjoyed our stay but suggest improvements are required to meet expected standards. Improved mattresses would improve overall perception markedly.
Practical but expensive for what it offers

Trip to China, first stop, Beijing!!!
Location next to the Forbidden City. Typical Chinese street, in the areas of the old Hutongs, not modern and luxurious, but with a neighborhood feel... plenty of restaurants with typical Chinese food, real Chinese food, all very good, a small market and a greengrocer... all rustic, even more so because of the location... we loved the entire stay.

- • Beijing in August is very hot... I didn't like the clothes I brought for the trip, should have brought lighter clothes. Public transport (Bus/Subway), 10/10, Didi (Uber) 10/10, Safety, 10/10, Cleanliness, 10/10. Food, very different from ours, many condiments, especially pepper, be careful!!! Learn to ride a bike, there are many to rent... If you have doubts on the streets, during walks, anywhere, approach the police, extremely helpful, but always have your phone and translator at hand.
Clean and tidy accommodation, close to the sights.
Comfortable bed, clean room, there was also a refrigerator.

- • One of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel. The reception staff was very rude and unwilling to help. I had problems with the applications (Alipay, WeChat, Didi) and even needed help to book the visit to Tiananmen Square. They refused to help me at all times and didn't even respond to greetings. The location is good, but the reception service is terrible. I would never return and would not recommend it, especially to foreign travelers who may need a minimum of assistance.

- • The beds were so hard, it was gloomy and needed a refurbishment. No bedside lamp. Clean enough but not to standard
