Wonderful place to see wild animals

We really enjoyed all of our time at Kapama Southern Camp. We saw so many animals up close. It was great accommodations as well as safaris.

Unforgettable experience

Alec and Matt made our stay at Kapama truly unforgettable! They were, without a doubt, the best guide and tracker team we had during our entire Africa trip.

Trip of a lifetime! If you have hesitations, put them behind you and book this vacation.

What an amazing experience. Everything was excellent, from the food and accommodations to the staff and the service. We would not change a thing. We cannot give enough praise to our guide Richard and out spotter Dee. What wonderful people to spend an adventure with. Thank you so much for making this a trip of a lifetime.

A Nice Villa for Safari Holiday

One of the nicest Villa for safari camp. The villa served great food and drinks. For safari, yes. we manage to see the big 5 in the camp. Cleanliness is good. The Atmosphere was good and relaxing. The safari staffs are very welcoming and we had a great stay in the camp. I can see the team trying their best to chase for the animals, it's indeed exciting for the chase. The team works well to ensure we get to see the big 5. We did a foot massage at the kapama river lodge, as the weather is hot, there's elephants on the river. Location is near to Kruger National Park too. Suggest to book another Kruger national park safari if you have time for more exploration for the different animals like cheetahs and others.

Everything we hoped it would be and more!

One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s a private reserve so you are pretty much guaranteed to see the big 5 as we did, and close up as well. To be a few feet from a lion and a herd of elephants felt a real privilege. The guides are knowledgeable and the trackers know there stuff and where to go.whilst on the staff, service was first class, from the restaurants to the rooms, and the people are just simply lovely, genuinely happy to help, nothing was too much trouble. Food was also top notch, cooked fresh and lots to choose from. One word of advice, take a few layers for the early morning safaris, it’s pretty cold and also gets cold once the sun goes down, but during the day it heats up nicely. It was everything we hoped it would be and more, made special by the people.

Beyond Every Expectation

Kappama Safari exceeded every expectation and was truly a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully done, from the beautiful accommodations to the incredible food, which was consistently delicious. What made our trip unforgettable was the staff. The level of hospitality and genuine care we received was unlike anything we've experienced before. Our server, Innocence, went above and beyond every single day, making every meal feel special with outstanding service, warmth, and attention to detail. Our safari guides, Petrus and Selvie, were absolutely phenomenal. Their knowledge, passion for wildlife, and ability to create unforgettable game drives made every safari exciting and memorable. They were friendly, professional, and truly made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. The rooms were stunning, beautifully designed, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after each adventure. Every aspect of the lodge reflected luxury while still feeling warm and welcoming. The spa was another highlight of our trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and incredibly personalized. The treatments were fantastic, and we especially loved spending time enjoying the steam room, the refreshing cold plunge, and the amazing pool. It was the perfect way to unwind between safari drives. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was our final night. The staff surprised us with a private, personalized dinner that made for the perfect ending to an incredible trip. We had also made a special request for a Father's Day dessert, and they didn't hesitate for a second. They went above and beyond to make it happen, and the thoughtful gesture meant so much to our family. It perfectly reflected the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail that we experienced throughout our entire stay. We cannot recommend Kappama Safari enough. Every member of the team made us feel welcomed, cared for, and truly special. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all of our expectations, and we can't wait to return someday.

Amazing trip, hospitality was so kind

We had an amazing time at Kapama. They made sure we were well fed giving us plenty of times to snack and enjoy meals throughout the day and safari! Our rooms were beautiful and well kept by housekeeping twice a day. Our lovely waitress, Innocent, was beyond great and treated us to a special cake from the chef for Father’s Day and always brightened our days at meals. As for our guides, Selby and Petrus, they couldn’t have made the trip any better! They are the best team and answered all of our silly questions even the ones about themselves. We loved getting to know them and will be back to see them in particularly!!! Thank you for this experience Kapama.
