Very mixed feelings
The hotel is beautiful, and I absolutely loved our villa. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome.

- • We both suffered food poisoning after eating oysters at Akasa, and I was seriously unwell for more than a week. I requested a refund for the dinner several times, but despite repeated promises to follow up, I still haven’t received a refund or a clear resolution and have had to keep chasing the hotel. The lack of follow-through on such a serious incident has been extremely disappointing and overshadowed an otherwise lovely stay.
