- • We arrived at around 11:00 p.m. after a long journey home from our holiday. Only after checking in and paying the city tax were we informed that our room was on the seventh floor and that the lift was not working. We were travelling with luggage, and my wife is pregnant. Her doctor had specifically advised her to avoid physical strain and unnecessary use of stairs. Expecting us to carry our luggage up seven floors late at night was completely unreasonable. We had booked this hotel only because it was too late to continue our journey home and we needed somewhere to rest. In the end, I had to pay for another hotel and leave. In our opinion, offering a room on the seventh floor without a working lift, without providing any suitable alternative, showed a complete lack of service and consideration for guests.

- • Elevator was broken and generally super difficult to manage with luggage, starting with the entrance door. In the morning loud renovation works started in the room next to mine and generally the whole floor and staircase was messy and dirty. I almost felt sorry to be there to disturb. For this standard, the room and service was truly overpriced.

- • Really disappointed to find we'd been allocated 6th floor and the lift was out of action. They offered us a free breakfast to apologise but we do not eat breakfast so asked perhaps for a drink instead. Free breakfast was all that could be offered. Really a partial refund would have been more appropriate for a very uncomfortable and inconvenient situation after a long day of travel.
