Very cold water in the pool. A parking space in the underground garage for 8.50/night. Should be free at a 5* hotel

Would return here. There is construction nearby but that didn’t impact stay or ambiance. Staff so helpful and accommodating

We enjoyed our time in Lagos
Breakfast was excellent, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and the hotel itself was spotless with excellent housekeeping

- • The lobby was uncomfortably hot in the evenings with no air conditioning. A little disappointed with the room as we paid for a priority location with a sea view and got a room on the first floor
Breakfast has no coffee service at the table, which shouldn't be the case at this level. Pastéis de nata are tiny and taste frozen. The buffet is large with real variety, and the pizza is good. Desserts are forgettable. On seafood night, both the lobster and prawns were tough and chewy — quantity over quality

- • We booked this based on its rating and billing as a high-end property. Having stayed, I don't think either is deserved. It's a solid three-star experience in five-star packaging

- • The lie of the presentation, seaside when it is more than 1 km away from the sea!!! At the beach, once you arrive after a tiring walk under the sun and heat, all the spots are reserved in advance and paid for. The establishment is located in a desert, far from everything!!!

- • You can't order a bottle of wine at the bar in a 5-star hotel in Portugal. I had the great choice between a glass of red, white, or rosé. Never experienced before
