It was an amazing staycation with my mini family. would do it all over again
Maintained clealiness, friendly and always helpful. If you are a world member of hyatt you will get the discount too. I would stay there again but this time with a sea view 😁

Rare find for the price as it was exceptional. Best staff all round.
Outstanding breakfast as you could have the buffet or a selection from the Ala carte menu . The staff were very attentive and friendly - Liza even found out it was my birthday and the staff sang a sound and presented me with a lovely red velvet cake with candle. These little touches make the stay even more special. The view from the restaurant was outstanding and the pool also had this great view.

Service super and of quality, very professional staff. The rooftop with the pool and the sunset view over the sea is magnificent. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful, with style. Great breakfast buffet with everything. Well located, especially close to the port for boats going to the islands. But really special thanks to the attentive, smiling staff!

After three weeks travelling through Malaysia—staying in a serviced apartment in Kuala Lumpur and an island resort in the Perhentian Islands—I didn’t expect our city hotel to be a highlight. Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu exceeded all expectations. Service was exceptional from arrival. I had booked two rooms and was upgraded to a connecting suite. We were welcomed with a personalised note and complimentary snacks, a thoughtful touch that made us feel valued. Special mention goes to Matlee Ruslan, Assistant Outlet Manager, who consistently went above and beyond throughout our stay. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, directly opposite Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, making it perfect for shopping, dining and exploring the waterfront. After several days of travel, we appreciated the efficient and reasonably priced laundry service. The rooms were modern, well-furnished, spotless and serviced promptly each day. The buffet breakfast was outstanding—one of the best I’ve experienced—with a wide selection of high-quality local and international dishes. It’s easy to see why the hotel is often fully booked. The rooftop pool was a great place to unwind, and the adjoining bar and lounge offered a relaxed atmosphere with excellent city views. Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu delivers an excellent balance of luxury, value and genuine hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again—it will be my first choice on any return visit.
