Nice place, but too expensive compared to the facilities
The hotel is beautiful upon arrival and the common areas near the reception are great. The staff is friendly. A dog basket and bowls were nicely provided for our dog.

- • The restaurant is closed on Sundays. The room with a terrace was smaller than the photos suggested. The bathroom was a bit dull, and the room slightly worn. Overall, we found it too expensive considering the level and location of the place. It costs 495 DKK extra to have a dog with you. Breakfast is 185 DKK per person - a bit on the high side, so we chose not to use that offer.

- • Breakfast was below standard and expensive - I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and the breakfast was excellent back then. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were small and not nice. I will not return or recommend Hotel Scheelsminde
