The location was perfect! Beautiful and atmospheric estate. Nice parking nearby. Sufficient space at the pool. The lounge area looks cozy. Nice large towels also in the bathroom. Well-catered breakfast with a lot of choices. Too bad about the wasps... Dinner was delicious!

DISAPPOINTING!
Stay of 2 nights organized for my elderly in-laws. The price is exorbitant compared to the services. Apart from the gourmet restaurant, everything needs to be reviewed! Building renovation, room, steps to access the bathroom. Seminar organized with Mexicans; my in-laws were placed separately in the bistro-style restaurant (the 2nd simpler restaurant). We didn't know where to put them! I absolutely do not recommend it! They were very disappointed!

- • As the house is an old building, unfortunately, you can hear the clients lingering in the gardens in the evening and those from neighboring rooms... The hotel also hosts seminars, so there were many people, passages, a very different atmosphere from a hotel only open to vacationers.

- • Three stars, not one more. The hotel is formally 5 stars, but the experience offered is, in my opinion, far from the standards that such a classification should represent. I must say that the entire ecosystem of the structure seems to revolve around the restaurant, which I did not try. Limiting myself to the hotel component, the picture is rather disappointing: the structure clearly needs a significant maintenance and upgrading intervention. The historic 19th-century building would have great potential, but it is poorly valued. The spaces are bare, the furniture is sparse and lacks particular character. And beware: we are not talking about sought-after minimalism or essential design, but simply a general feeling of poverty in the furnishings, hardly compatible with a 5-star rating. Air conditioning: evidently dated and ineffective ducted system. In a 5-star hotel, if I set 20°C in the room, I should be able to get a temperature reasonably close to the one requested. Here, instead, the best result is a generic "moderate coolness." At these rates, it is unacceptable. The bathroom is equally unconvincing: absence of a shower, with only the tub available, and above all an extremely dated wall-mounted hairdryer, with a 90s aesthetic more suitable for an old convention center than a luxury facility. Even breakfast leaves much to be desired. The staff is clearly inadequate compared to the level and number of guests, with a service that inevitably suffers. But what really astonished me was the absence of whole milk. To my request, I was simply told that the establishment only serves partially skimmed milk. In a 5-star hotel, such a response is frankly surreal: we are not talking about a particular or sophisticated request, but about whole milk for breakfast.
