Location is very convenient. Close to a few stations, including Bencoolen which is practically direct from airport. Staff were helpful. I asked about travel adapter and was offered one to borrow. Self-checking kiosk helps speed up check-in/out at peak times. Room is small as expected and for one person is ok but for two will be quite tight. Bed is comfy and shower works well. Drinking water is provided with specific tap and very convenient. Small things like shopping bag sharing at the front is very helpful when you brought souvenirs from home but forgot to bring carrying bags.

- • The cleaners did not clear used cups but that might be because I came back to the room when they were in the middle of room cleaning. The next morning the cups were cleared.
Tiny rooms at a reasonable Singapore price in a good location
We expected the room to be small as per other reviews and it met that expectation. Tiny bathroom but it did the trick. The bed was fine. comfortable. Location was good as could walk to lots of attractions or catch the metro across the road. two food halls to get on the run eats. Didn't do breakfast so no idea. It was on expectations and at a better price than most of Singapore. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat at the end of a day exploring. Didn't have almost any interaction with staff and they were helpful on the occasion we did.

- • We had a 'garden view' deluxe suite. It had gorgeous tropical plants to look out on but everyone else on that floor would have been looking straight into your room if we had kept the blinds up. so the room was always in darkness with the need for lights on. pretty disconcerting. They need a privacy blind to be installed so you can have daylight in your room. The black out blind that was there was effective. And yes the rooms are tiny. We pushed our bed to the window so we had some floor space to put our luggage. I wouldn't call our suite actually a suite or a deluxe anything but it did the trick as we spend our time out and about.
