Felt like I was walking back in time into the most perfect Salzburg hotel!
Excellent location and charming room! For our anniversary, the hotel upgraded us to room 25 on the 4th/top floor and if you have a chance to stay in this delightful, sun-kissed suite, do so!!!

- • The breakfast buffet was generally okay, but in my opinion, it did not quite meet the standards and price category of the hotel. Especially with the muesli selection, I would have liked a slightly larger and higher quality selection, for example, oatmeal, various nuts, as well as quark or different types of yogurt. The breakfast was by no means bad, but I would have expected a more diverse selection for a hotel of this price category. In my view, there is still some room for improvement in this area.
There is room for improvement - and it used to be different - too bad!
The location is top! The hotel is very nice! The bartender is very attentive and super top professional!

- • Many little things that affect the overall impression - for example, the curtain in the room was not hanging correctly - it came off the rod - no one repaired or noticed it, even though the curtain was opened and closed by the staff every day! Also, the reception was unfortunately different this time - less friendly - young, not very empathetic or professional staff... and unfortunately also the restaurant - is no longer run by the Golden Stag; but by the Herzl - the food is unfortunately not good!!!
Excellent staff and super central location.
We had a particularly attentive staff member at breakfast who very kindly kept asking us about our wishes. Overall, the hotel crew was very accommodating.
