Very relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel
We felt very comfortable. Upon our arrival, we were able to easily add dinner. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms very cozy. The parking in front of the hotel is free. And our bikes were stored overnight.

Recommended, always gladly again....
The breakfast was varied and absolutely the best breakfast we have ever had. Even the bread and rolls were top quality. Despite arriving around 9:30 pm due to traffic jams, everything went smoothly. Even when we called with a traffic-related question on the way, we were very helpful.

- • For the price of 100.00 per night for 2 people in a large double room with a great breakfast, the only 'complaint' is that our room faced a heavily trafficked main road. But no problem for an overnight stay....

Beautiful cozy pampering hotel
Hotel Engel is a cozy classic Austrian hotel with very friendly staff. The location is wonderful for excursions (e.g. to Lake Constance) - but you have to know...and as you can see on Google Maps...it is located on a main road and is actually heavily surrounded by traffic. The breakfast is very good - there is a lot to choose from...including salmon and antipasti...good jams, boiled eggs, and regionally very delicious sausage products. In the restaurant (closed on Mondays, but then there is the 'Wälderstüble' opposite) you can eat well, it is cozy inside and the outdoor terrace, in good weather, is very nice and spacious. Everything is clean and well maintained. We did not use the wellness area. Occasionally, a busload of older clientele arrives...this is by no means disturbing or hindering, as in the evening, for example, a larger group always dines in the adjacent room. All in all, a good pleasant experience and recommended!

Very nicely designed hotel, but unfortunately with a limited offering.
- The interior design of the hotel is very cozy, with a lot of wood. - The beds are of good quality. - The breakfast offer is very rich and of fresh quality. - The staff is helpful and friendly. - The price/performance offer would be absolutely convincing (with functioning sauna operation).

- • - The wellness offer (sauna, steam bath) was not in operation during our entire stay, allegedly due to technical problems. - The traffic noise is enormous. However, with closed windows, peaceful sleep is guaranteed. - The restaurant is only open for breakfast until 10 am and again from 5:00 pm, and also closed in the evening on Mondays.
Breakfast was very good and constantly replenished.
