A memorable stay, where immersion in nature
The Hotel das Cataratas is a unique experience precisely because it is located within the national park. Staying there means living with nature all the time, coatis and birds appear along the way, and there are exclusive guest hours to contemplate the waterfalls without the public, something that very few places in the world offer. The architecture and decoration are fantastic, the environment is extremely comfortable and quiet, and the attention to maintenance is evident in every detail. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the internal transfer to the entrance works with impeccable punctuality. We left with the feeling of having experienced something rare.

- • A single point stood out from the rest: we ordered a hot chocolate through room service on very cold days, and what came was far below expectations, practically a lukewarm milk with a touch of chocolate powder, instead of a rich chocolate that would truly warm us up. In a hotel of this level, it is precisely the kind of detail that should match the rest.
Unbelievable
Just the communication before arrival was perfect. Then the transfer organization. The reception was very relaxed and incredibly friendly. The dinner at the Y restaurant was exceptionally good, an experience for all the senses. Room was great. Direct view of the waterfalls. Simply top-notch. Thank you 🙏

Highly recommended for couples
Breakfast, and outdoor activities, such as bike rides. Exceptional meals by the pool, very good. Exceptional service. I spent my birthday there.

- • More care is needed in the activities within the hotel. Improve the gym, the hiking trails are easy to do or coordinate with those of the waterfalls.
It was just magical
The hotel has a fantastic location, but what really makes it special is the staff. They are amazing, always willing to help and do everything to make your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Very good, but with reservations that do not match the price charged
The breakfast is a dream, the hotel overflows with Brazilian good taste, the location is the best possible, the tours are wonderful, and the staff is excellent.

- • From the leak that started dripping in my room at 3 in the morning and woke everyone up, including my baby daughter. It was quickly resolved, but it should not have happened in a hotel of this price range. I also found some used and dusty napkins on the highest shelf of the closet during check-out.
