It was supposed to be just OK.
The location is very good, very close to the main square. The breakfast also meets expectations.

- • We left our bags there on the last day and we are sure they went through our bags because the combination lock on one of them was changed and we found the bag with the lock open. We even doubted if we had left it open or not, but for some reason they changed the combination which made us certain they opened the bag.
Our second visit was very good.

- • It did not have American breakfast as advertised. Located in an area with no nearby restaurants, the hotel itself had no restaurant, forcing us to go out for dinner in a desolate area, with no traffic, on a street that felt unsafe.
Recommended, close to downtown Quito.
Staff super friendly and super helpful. Hotel is really close to the center. Breakfast was very simple.

- Very good communication from the booking reservation - Comfortable room with all the necessary extra amenities (small bottle of water offered in the room, safe, hairdryer, heating, bath mat to prevent slipping in the shower, among others). - I found the bed linen very comfortable (especially the duvet) and the wifi very effective - The staff was really friendly and allowed me to have breakfast an hour before the scheduled time because I had an early flight - The hotel is very well located and also secure with a badge required to enter.

- • There are several audible noises in the hotel (like a machine that goes off regularly, as well as a wind chime sound every time someone passes by the reception). On the first night, there was also a couple who arrived late and rang the bell after midnight, which can be disturbing.
