Fantastic staff, always smiling and helpful. Excellent opportunity to do laundry on the terrace, with clear and simple instructions, at a very fair price. The hostel is very well organized in a great and well-served location.

Perfect for a family stay
We had an excellent stay. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The family room was perfect for our family (3 children). Well-stocked breakfast. Ideally located to visit Seoul. Metro station nearby and a bus stop just in front of the hotel. We will definitely come back! Thanks again for your hospitality

Excellent location. Close to attractions, metro, buses. Well connected with airport transportation. Close to grocery stores and a street with many pubs and restaurants. Rooms not very large, but sufficient for a stay where you mainly spend time outside. Very small bathroom, where the shower head is connected to the sink, so the whole bathroom gets wet after use. Friendly and helpful staff. A shared, well-equipped kitchen is available. Hotel breakfast includes toast, jam, yogurt, Nutella, and a slice of cheese.

Hostel Tommy Jongno turned out to be the perfect base for our Seoul trip. Yes, it’s technically a hostel, but it felt more like a cozy, welcoming home. The location in Jongno is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, with cafes, shops, and subway stations just a short walk away. One of the biggest pluses was the breakfast included every morning, plus a shared kitchen where we could prepare lunch and dinner until 11 PM. That made life so much easier traveling with family. The common areas are super friendly and inviting—guests often hang out together, and there’s even a selection of board games like chess, Rubik’s cubes, and more. It really helped break the ice and added a fun, social vibe to our stay. The staff—and even the owner—were incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything, from tips on getting around to restaurant recommendations. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Seoul, and we had plenty of space for all five of us. Honestly, it made our trip feel lighter, more fun, and stress-free. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and a warm atmosphere, Hostel Tommy Jongno is a gem. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Seoul!
