If someone is traveling on business, this is the perfect option for their own money.
I liked the price-quality ratio. At the reception, I was greeted by a smiling man who kindly escorted me to the room. The room had fresh bed linen and towels. The bed was comfortable, I fell asleep quickly.

- • They deceive people. You rent a room with a private bathroom but once there, they offer you one with a shared bathroom. If you want the one you chose and paid for, they tell you that you have to pay more. We had to speak with the boss on the phone to get the room we had paid for.
Great location, a five-minute walk to the train station or 20 minutes to the city center. Jiří at the reception is super nice and helpful!

- • small room, old furniture falling apart, no private bathroom as advertised, and mosquitoes kept waking me up all night, someone was knocking on the windows outside all the time, when someone turned on the light in the hallway, it shone into the room + everything was audible, I have not had a worse night yet

The hostel had a great atmosphere with a historical touch, and it was clean. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and told us many interesting facts about Ostrava and recommended places worth visiting. He also offered us compensation in the form of breakfast because of the misleading information in the reservation, where a private bathroom was guaranteed. Unfortunately, it turned out that this was intentional misleading by the property owner.

- • The property owner deliberately deceived us about the accommodation. The reservation clearly stated that the apartment would have a private bathroom. This was simply a lie. There was no private bathroom — the only bathroom was shared and located in the hallway. What makes the situation even worse is that this did not seem to be a misunderstanding or an innocent mistake. The information about the private bathroom was presented in the booking deliberately, which led us to choose and pay for this accommodation under false pretences. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. We could barely sleep and eventually decided to return home earlier. We did not even consider staying for the second night because we did not want to sleep on those mattresses again. The receptionist did offer us breakfast as compensation for the lack of a private bathroom. However, this turned into another unpleasant experience. He himself suggested that we have breakfast at 8:00, even though we had asked for 9:00. Despite this, the breakfast was not prepared at 8:00. We waited for more than an hour, and at around 9:15 we finally decided to go out and get something to eat ourselves. We only saw him again at the entrance, when he was just arriving with groceries. Overall, we feel that we were deliberately misled about a key feature of the accommodation. A private bathroom was explicitly promised, but it simply did not exist. This is unacceptable and, in our opinion, completely undermines trust in the property.
