Accommodation that creates a close and familiar atmosphere.
Sixty-year-old couple staying at the Hostal Extremeño from June 25th to 27th of 2026. It looks simple at first, but then surprises you. It is clean, very well conditioned, wooden floors, great bathroom with good towels, toiletries, good closets, wooden hangers, desk, comfortable chairs, bedside table, outlets next to the bed, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, etc. Everything is renovated, they are renovating it again to improve and expand their facilities, soon. The owners will retire soon, and it will be their son who will manage the Hostal. Family business. Quality/price ratio hard to beat. The owners, Ángel and Paqui, make you feel at home; friendly, polite, close, and willing to help in everything. They inform you in detail about what to visit, where to eat, places to park the vehicle, nearby towns worth visiting, local festivals, concerts, etc. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was of great quality: fresh orange juice, toast with tomato, extra virgin olive oil and good ham, delicious; assorted seasonal fruit, great coffee, lactose-free milk, homemade sweet made by them, exquisite, etc. Highly recommended accommodation. When we return to Béjar, to the international Blues music festival, the best in Spain, we will stay there again; as long as we can get a room, as everything is booked months in advance. Good treatment from the hosts, always attentive and willing to help and advise about the surroundings. A very good breakfast included in the room rate.
