- • The loudness of been in an end room and the exit door slamming all night long when brought to the staff they were dismissive and nothing was offered or resolved just that they were fully booked and it’s busy in and out , we left early as non of our family slept .

- • The air conditioning made a terrible noise but if you turned it off it was stuffy, no window could be opened. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were just flat. You'd better skip the breakfast

- • We checked in for a 4-night stay. Our bedroom carpet was damp upon arrival and there were loud fans in our room which were removed upon request. No explanation offered. The room was over-deodorized with a nauseating perfume smell. The washroom had signs of moisture damage and mold. The tiled baseboards were falling away from the wall next to the shower and the toilet with visible mildew. It rained the night we arrived and the bedroom carpets were soaked in the morning. When we notified the front desk, they said they would send housekeeping to check it out, despite me telling them they needed maintenance to attend as the building envelope was leaking. I asked if we could move and have the price of our stay amended to suit the situation and the front desk clerk offered a $25 reduction in price for 1 night. That's pretty pathetic considering they have a large plaque on the wall next to the front desk that says if you're not satisfied with your stay, please accept 1 free night on us. We ended up moving rooms and were not offered help in doing so. When I asked again to have 1 night comped, I was told I'd have to wait until the following day to speak with the manager. When we did meet, she agreed 1 night would be fair and adjusted our overall bill. Beyond that, nothing more was done. Also, there didn't seem to be security on site and we were approached by street folk each day in the parking lot in front of the hotel, asking for money. There seemed to be shelters or social housing in the area so there was a fair bit of transient foot traffic in the neighborhood. Great location otherwise, lots of potential but little desire to go above and beyond. We would not stay here again, or recommend it.
