Nice breakfast, the staff was helpful. Location is okay in terms of both taxi and access to public transportation.

- • Swimming pool under reconstruction with option to use one in a nearby hotel. During daytime the reconstruction noise was audible throughout the hotel. The hotel did inform us a few days ahead about that, though. FX ATM machine offers rates 20% (!) below the market rate, reminded me of those at Prague airport.

- • The new beds were horribly hard (like sleeping on a rock) and unbeknown at the time of booking a room with double beds, did not realise they are smaller in size in Singapore - equate to a king single in other parts of the world which made sleeping arrangements challenging. Was only advised 3 days prior to arrival swimming pool had been closed for renovations. Interesting project management choice during the hotter / humid months of the year. However arrangements were made to access another hotels swimming pool approximately 5 minute walk away.
