Ideal hotel for quality-price ratio, also considering the distance from Manhattan
Comfortable bed in spacious and clean room. Close to the metro station. Abundant but English breakfast, no sweets. Friendly and quiet staff. The property is located in a not too 'ugly' part of the Bronx.

- • Breakfast, because we are Italians and missed the sweet part. Although we have never had real dangers, we are always in the Bronx... so calm but not extremely calm.

Great experience
I stayed at this hotel during my trip to New York and I had a very good experience. The property was clean and the staff always kind and welcoming. The breakfast was decent, but could be improved. Upon arrival, the neighborhood may seem a bit peculiar, but after getting familiar with it, you realize there is nothing to worry about. A major strength is the location: the metro is very close and in about fifteen minutes you can reach Times Square. Overall, it was a great experience and I would gladly return.

Located in the Bronx neighborhood, very close to 2 subway lines, 5 minutes away (line 4) and 10 minutes away (line D) that take you to Times Square in approximately 20-25 minutes. There are shops in the area and even though we arrived almost every day around 23:00, we never felt unsafe. Our room was very spacious (2m bed). The buffet breakfast started at 06:30 and offered potatoes and bacon (or potatoes with onion and hamburger), scrambled eggs, pancakes, juice, coffee (which was also available 24 hours), boiled eggs, toast and various bagels, butter, jam, cream cheese, syrup, yogurt, cereals. The wifi worked perfectly. The reception is open 24 hours and we were able to leave our luggage on both the day of arrival and departure at no cost. There are several employees who speak Spanish, which made things easier for us (thank you very much Joel). There is ice in the hallway of the rooms. As we mentioned, at the reception there is free water and coffee 24 hours a day. Hotel with a very good value for money. We had a water leak problem in the bathroom that was resolved on the same day, so very good customer service.

Better than expected
I was positively surprised by the cleanliness of the property. I have come to lower the bar for certain price levels of hotel stays when I am paying for it out of pocket. For the price range that I paid, I loved what I saw. Breakfast is good considering that is included in the price.

- • I understand the paid parking situation even if I don’t like it. However, they allow you to go out and in as many times as you want if you pay for your nights, unlike some places where I had to pay every time I get out and try to get back in.
