- • I booked this establishment with full confidence based on its 9/10 rating 'Fabulous' on Booking, as well as on the reputation of the Herods chain, presented as a reference in luxury hospitality. I paid €594.90, plus around 400 ₪ in taxes, for a superior room with a terrace and jacuzzi. At this price level, I expected an impeccable establishment. Unfortunately, the reality was quite the opposite. The hotel is extremely run-down and clearly lacks maintenance. The common areas are old, worn, and give an overall impression of neglect. The corridors leading to the rooms are not even air-conditioned. In the Dead Sea, where temperatures exceed 40°C daily, this is simply unacceptable for an establishment presented as a fabulous hotel. The room was also run-down and far from the expected standard for a superior room. The bathroom was invaded by several insects. More seriously, we found ants in our bed during the night. Such a situation is absolutely unacceptable. The private jacuzzi, which was one of the main criteria for our reservation and justified the extra payment, was not even filled when we arrived and was unusable. The outdoor facilities were in the same condition. The pool is aging, poorly maintained, with visible rust around the equipment. All tables were covered in bird droppings. The whole area was dirty, dilapidated, and did not make you want to enjoy the facilities. Dinner was a huge disappointment. The buffet was unvaried and unappetizing. Dishes supposed to be served hot (especially pasta and cooked dishes) were completely cold. I specify that they were not lukewarm but really cold.
I liked the service, the staff's attitude was very good. I liked the cuisine, everywhere was very clean. In general, it was excellent, I want to go there again, and I will recommend it to my friends. I had a very good impression

Excellent place for vacation and entertainment
We had a wonderful vacation, the staff was very nice. There was a great view and great food.

The best hotel on the Dead Sea in terms of location, stunning views, some seclusion (which is not in Ein Bokek). Sincerely friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. Rooms, linen - all clean. It is evident that the hotel is managed by caring people. Special thanks to Lada for the birthday surprise.
