Beautiful rainforest lodge with weaknesses
Beautiful rainforest lodge with nice and courteous staff, great pool, and delicious food. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and the whole area well maintained.

- • The offered tours are disappointing and often too short and significantly overpriced for what is offered. The food was tasty, but I didn't tolerate it well twice.

- • The rates increased almost €50 more than the value, and our room didn't have curtains while other rooms did. We were not informed about this, and there was no discount for it. Another thing was that at check-in, they said they couldn't process the payment through booking, but they didn't inform us what the real problem was.
Worth every moment. Simply wonderful!!
TOP!!! Worth every dollar. Even in the middle of the Amazon. At night, the sound of the animals was magical. Worth every moment. I regretted spending so little time.

Hamadryade lodge was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle but still have access to creature comforts. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They helped us set up multiple excursions with local outfitters and taxi drivers. The kitchen staff made delicious food. When we were arranging a 530 AM excursion, they were able to provide a kettle and instant coffee so we could be awake for our trip. Our favorite outing was the white water rafting - highly recommend if you enjoy adrenaline activities. I hope we can one day return!

- • The restaurant menu is quite small, and certain ingredients were unavailable, limiting dishes. The food was delicious, but on the third day, we chose to go to town to have a little more variety in our diet. We were in ecocabin 3 (one of the smaller bungalows). The front of the eco cabins is a large glass window. However, our view was into eco cabin 2. We wanted to sleep with the curtains open and look out at the jungle, but our nearby neighbors could see straight into our cabin. If you book an ecocabin, I think #1 provides the most privacy.
Great accommodation
The ambiance is totally beautiful, the staff is great. It is located in the middle of the jungle. It is possible to drive up there with a normal car, but carefully and slowly! The staff and the food are great, would go back again!

- • Around 9:30 AM, the leaf blower was started, powered by gasoline. It is loud and smelly and somewhat misses the point of going into the remote jungle. I don't think there is any intention behind this, but I think it's important to mention. Maybe this is appropriate criticism, maybe not.
