Modern, well-managed hotel in a convenient location
Very large rooms, good free parking, good breakfast selection, very clean, plenty of USB charging options and free power outlets. The hotel manager and owner personally take care of every guest. Although the hotel is located outside the city, it has good connections in all directions.

- • The hotel feels somewhat sterile, lots of gold and marble. But ultimately, it's a matter of personal taste.
Came to drop off daughter at Dalhousie. Staff was great. Beds very comfortable.
Clean. Huge rooms and good breakfast.

- • Parking with a large vehicle was suboptimal as underground parking was risky and above ground was limited and often also difficult to park a pickup truck.
Just not worth the money 😕

- • Breakfast became a bit boring after 4 days - there was mold on the oranges. We were taken aback that the price of the room increased daily - just not worth it - did not care for the pricing being in US funds - we booked under duress as a family member was having quadruple emergency heart bypass pass surgery. The front desk could not adjust the pricing to hospital stay rates. Lesson learned - we shall always book direct with the hotel and not use online booking sites. Did not appear to be any room service and the bar's menu very limited. The on-site location restaurant rather overpriced.
Totally overpriced.
Conveniently located for us as we had to go to the airport the next morning. Otherwise, too far outside. The rooms are very large and comfortable.

- • The breakfast buffet did not meet the standard at all - not even 4 stars. It was too cold everywhere. There was a slight smell of mold in the bathroom.
A very good hotel
Great breakfast and a very comfortable hotel overall. Well above the expectations I had. Seems to be a very smart choice for staying in the Halifax area - if you don't mind driving.

- • I would prefer a better bar with more drink choices and, especially, snacks/food. I can't find any other complaints.
