The hotel is in a nice location. Plenty of food and shopping nearby. Staff members were all very nice. The hotel is also very clean. Breakfast was nice and had great options. All in all, a great place to stay.

- • Not kid-friendly. Did not realize that kids are restricted from using the pool except with a reservation and only for an hour. Also, reservations can only be made between 9-5, which puts a dent in your day if you’re wanting to go places. Not convenient at all. I’ve stayed at many different hotels, and this was a first for me. I’ll be sure to check rules more carefully in the future.
The hotel is directly connected to Canal City Hakata, very convenient. The Gundam water show and light show in the mall at night are fantastic. There is also live music performance on the 1st floor of the hotel, giving an overall feeling of returning to the grand hotels of the good old 90s.
A Grand Hyatt with a sense of '90s classic luxury'. I really liked my stay at Grand Hyatt Fukuoka this time. The overall space in design, materials, and lighting has a classic luxury feel that only large international hotels of the last century have. Nowadays, new hotels rarely create this scale and atmosphere. Although the facilities are not new, you can feel the hotel's continuous efforts to maintain the quality of space and service. The hotel is directly connected to Canal City Hakata, very convenient. The Gundam water show and light show in the mall at night are fantastic. There is also live music performance on the 1st floor of the hotel, giving an overall feeling of returning to the grand hotels of the good old 90s. The location is also very good, within walking distance to riverside stalls, Kushida Shrine, shopping streets, and more. The atmosphere around at night is particularly comfortable, very resort-like.

- • Unfortunately, some facilities do feel dated, such as the weak flushing power of the toilet, sometimes not even able to flush toilet paper completely in one go. This is probably an area where it's difficult for old hotels to make comprehensive improvements. But overall, I still have a deep fondness for this hotel. If I come back to Fukuoka in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here again.
