Terry was an incredible host and we were welcomed with warmth and felt completely at home. We booked at the last minute and we're so fortunate to have stumbled on this gem.

A spontaneous night’s getaway.
Fabulous location. Terry was such a wonderful host. The room was spacious and the whole house was incredibly clean. The cheese board and wine in the evening was a great addition and the breakfast was superb. And Coco and Molly were the most adorable wee dogs.

Excellent location, great hospitality and great vineyards
Mary and Terry are amazing hosts and took excellent care of us. Right from picking us up at the airport, going back and forth to Queenstown, they went our of their way to help us our and make sure we are taken care off. This beautiful property is located among the vineyards and one can easily walk to the 3 vineyards in the sub-division. The quality of pinot noir is at these locations are quite amazing. If you love vineyard visits, this is the most amazing place. The gracious hosts also provided and excellent cheese and wine tasting each evening and a wholesome custom prepared breakfast each morning. In summary, we have stayed in hundreds of locations around the globe, I would rate this among the very best, if not the best.

- • Nothing. We did not have a vehicle, but I think having a vehicle would be an added plus if one wants to visit other vineyards further away.
Absolutely amazing stay with the most amazing hosts
I don’t think I have ever felt more welcome at a b&b than I have felt at Gibbston house. The hosts were absolutely amazing, they make you feel so welcome, breakfast was amazing and an absolute highlight was the wine and cheese at night, to be enjoyed with the hosts and the other guests. Bonus: they have to most amazing and friendly dogs. Will definitely visit again!

Mary and Terry were the perfect hosts, extremely warm and generous. The house was really lovely, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. And to top it off, the breakfast options were fantastic as is their cheese and wine platter every evening. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Gibbston Valley and will definitely be coming back.
