- • Breakfast not as described: no fresh fruit, no pastries, mediocre fruit juice. No variety in the dishes (which is not pleasant for a 4-night stay). No flexibility regarding breakfast hours, set in advance.

For a great stay!
The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff at the work desk was extremely kind and helpful. The location is a short 5-minute walk to the main train station.

Exceptional visit
Fantastic customer service, they let us check in 3 & a half hours early. Room was a decent size and exceptionally clean with bottled water, an electric fan, and a small bottle of fizz. Very quick to respond to queries. Location is great, very central, literally just outside of the walls on a busy-ish road but couldn't hear any traffic! Very close to the museum gardens, art gallery, pubs, and cafes. Didn't have breakfast but will try it next time! Will be adding to my favorites and booking again whenever I'm in York. Thank you so much for being fabulous hosts, it's rare to find a B&B with little to no faults.

Staff amazing. Breakfast, top-notch. We made a mistake with our parking, staff helped us to rectify it straight away.
