Comfortable stay in a romantic historical house.
We chose Fridhems pensionat because it was close to Visby and on the waterfront. I specially like old, historical hotels and this one has even a royal past which added to the experience. The house itself is a museum with specific rooms dedicated to its history. The room like in many of those places was middle size with a tiny ensuite, but it was comfy. I would recommend to ask for the big rooms at the front which are accessible through the front balcony (not sure in winter though) The breakfast buffet was a cold one but acceptable.

- • I found that it was running on minimum staff doing all they could.
Beautifully renovated house with flair as in the time of Princess Eugenie and a beautiful view of the cliff. Since our ferry left very early, we received a breakfast bag, thank you very much!

Fantastic guesthouse feeling in lush surroundings
The location, the house's history: old guesthouse environment. Also the nice room we had with a view of the sea and the garden

The location on the steep coast with a view of the cliffs is fantastic. The former royal summer house partly resembles a museum.
