The room was spacious, extremely clean, and very tastefully furnished and decorated. Everything was comfortable. I found the hotel generally very quiet, which is a huge bonus for a business traveler. Reception was fully staffed (as opposed to many hotels who have one person at the desk even during busy hours) and everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful.

- • In the morning, the staff move around in the hallways with a cart filled with glass water bottles. The cart makes loud clunking noises as it moves. This should be remedied to avoid guests who, for whatever reason, are still asleep.
The lady at the front desk with her first initial starting with M was very helpful

One of the best city accommodations we have ever had!
Super nice and great, old house. Wonderfully converted into luxurious rooms/suites. Brilliant location (U3 right outside the door) in the middle of the city center. Super friendly staff. You also have all the hotel services, like the option for breakfast, 24h reception, and daily room cleaning. Everything was just perfect, there's nothing I could mention, except for the TV, which was a bit slow and I found the channel selection rather limited - but who needs that in Hamburg anyway ;-) I have rarely been sooo satisfied with everything. If possible, ask for a room facing the canal - I found that really great and quite peaceful.
