Although the overall feeling is that of a rather old hotel, the maintenance and cleanliness of the room facilities are quite good, with high cost performance. The location is good, convenient for both buses and subways.

No problems staying.
The building was old, but the interior was kept clean. They tried their best even though they couldn't speak Japanese.

- • I had some difficulty in communicating because they didn't understand Japanese very well.
Old hotel, felt cozy. The double room was large, comfortable, quiet as I like it. Also, the self-service breakfast was excellent!

It's relatively close to the MRT station, with plenty of restaurant choices nearby. The price is very affordable, and I got a free upgrade. Stayed alone in a large room, very happy. Although the window faced a major road, it wasn't noisy. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. It has now become my top choice for accommodation in Taipei.

- • The air conditioning cooling is a bit slow. It gets hot at night, but luckily I could roll between two beds alone.

Average... Maybe it's acceptable if you're in the mood for a trip back to the Showa era...
