- • The attention at reception. They double charged our credit card and did not schedule room cleaning
It was a nice stay, would recommend.
Hotel was clean, room was nice and spacious, employees were kind and helpful and breakfast was good. It’s right across from the fire station so you will hear sirens often but it’s right in the middle of tons of restaurants, shopping, and things to do. We parked our car and walked for the whole duration of the trip.

- • The parking garage is two blocks away from the hotel, and the parking garages are sketchy. Watch your back.

Great location - walking distance to the Riverwalk, Millennium Park, Magnificent Mile, lots of restaurants. Clean, comfortable rooms. Free breakfast.

Great stay
I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown River North multiple times and have consistently had great experiences. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the overall experience is always excellent. What really makes this property stand out, however, is the staff—especially Fannie and Javier. They are always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Going down for breakfast is genuinely a highlight of the stay when they're there. They take the time to greet guests, make everyone feel welcome, and consistently provide outstanding service with a smile. Fannie and Javier are a real asset to the hotel and a big reason I continue to stay here whenever I'm in Chicago. Thank you both for making every visit memorable!
