Great staff, lovely lady gave me her fan from behind the bar which was so nice of her. Clean room and pretty comfortable

The location was excellent.& the bar was a bonus. Able to eat your own food in the beer garden hostess & provided china and cutlery😘😘

Clean and comfy.
The room was clean and tidy. Very nice bathroom. The Landlady was very kind and helpful. Would use this hotel again in the future.

A cheerful hotel at a reasonable price conveniently situated for an early morning flight transfer.
We arrived earlier than expected and were welcomed in. Although we didn't eat, the cosy bar and well-seated restaurant looked warm and inviting. Cheerful Accommodation at a reasonable price for the night and convenient for an early morning Manchester flight transfer with Maple Leaf Parking (3 miles away).

- • We arrived during a heatwave of 33 degrees in the early evening. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the very top. Although the window was open, so were the curtains and the sun had baked the room. We closed the curtains and left the window open throughout the night. It was quite noisy with dogs barking and some kind of construction work going on for at least 2 hours in the early hours. We appreciate this is no fault of the hotel, but with the heat and noise we barely slept. Placing a fan in the room in exceptional weather conditions would have been very much appreciated and we could have then closed the window.
