Definitely not a luxury 5 star hotel. Fake and cheap materials everywhere. Feeling of staying in a nice airport hotel. O
The only positive things about the hotel is the very nice, professional and attentive staff. They were very helpful and the level of the cleaning and care for the room was very high.

- • Rooms are extremely small. Even after paying for an upgrade the second deluxe room they gave us was still very small with the restroom open to the bedroom. Sinks, shower and even the toilet with an open view on the room. Ridiculous for a 5 star hotel. All the materials used in the rooms are fake and cheap. Fake wood, fake marble, fake stones. In a city as historic and nice such as Palma it was very disappointing. The feeling was of a very nice airport hotel. Surely not a 5 star in the “center” of Palma. And I’ve place center in quotes cause it is and it isn’t in the center. It’s located at the very edge of the center so surely isn’t far but still it’s a 15/20 min walk to go to very city center where all the interesting things to see and restaurants are. Even the Spa was a disappointment cause there were all the right things: pool, sauna etc but the place was designed and built with the style and material of a cheap airport hotel. You definitely never have the feeling of staying in a luxury 5 star hotel which is on the other hand exactly how they market their establishment and their price point which was actually one of the most expensive 5 star available in the city during those dates.

Beautiful hotel and superb staff
I stayed at Es Príncep with my parents and brother as part of my birthday celebrations. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location and beautifully designed. What made our stay so special though was the service provided by the staff - everyone was so helpful and friendly, it really did feel like coming home every day when we returned from sightseeing. The staff at reception were - in particular - a highlight for us as they anticipated what we needed and helped before we even asked. Thanks for making our trip v memorable!
