Superb!
We stayed in August at this hotel that I had chosen for my son and me because of its location. It was perfect. This hotel overlooks the banks of the Ganges, the view is magnificent, our room overlooked the Ganges with a small balcony, there is also a terrace for everyone next to the dining room! it is close to all attractions and especially the most important Ghat to attend the Aarti ceremony in the evening where we walked. It is located in the old town whose alleys may be a bit confusing for Westerners but do not be afraid, it is quiet. The hotel manager asked an employee to accompany us at 4 am to the main road to order a tuk-tuk and take us to the airport. This service is essential to guide and reassure us in the middle of the night, we who are not used to this type of city. This service is also offered in case of arrival at night. The breakfasts are also very good, Indian. The manager is very welcoming. The only downside is the somewhat basic comfort of the room but the price and the view more than make up for it, after all there is hot water and the mattress is comfortable. We thank Diwedi for his welcome! I recommend it! And Varanasi, what an incredible city especially during the monsoon season!

Good. Recommended for a trip centered around the main GHAT.
Breakfast was good. A simple combination of paneer, curry, and chai, but a different breakfast style from usual, the combination was good. The location was good. Being by the river, there was no noise from bikes or cars. The staff was good. They would answer friendly if asked. The restaurant was good. You can drink beer bought at the restaurant on the balcony. With a terrace and a rooftop observation deck, the view is good.

- • The room is not clean. Hygiene is a step below the accommodation price. If you can accept it as part of a trip to India, it's okay. Not recommended for women or those concerned about hygiene. The futon and bath towels are old. Location. Close to the main GHAT, but far from Gassia Ghat (where good restaurants are located). They do not clean the room or provide water without being asked.
Having the Ganges River right below the balcony has been incredible, the room with its round bed ufff👍 and the kindness of the staff top-notch.
