I had a single room in the same hostel the night before, then later I booked this two-bed room because a friend was meeting me. The staff let me just transfer between rooms without a big check-out, wait, and check-in deal, that was very helpful.

- • It felt more cramped than I expected, no closet, just two small shelves for putting things on. The breakfast wasn't terrible, but uninspired.
Since I was arriving near midnight, the 24-hour reception was a lifesaver....friendly and efficient. The room was reasonable for the cost, the kitchen was good. I'm always less good with cities and hot weather, so making it tolerable was huge. I loved the little pool in front, only once that I put my feet in, but just its presence makes me smile.

- • I sorta thought it had AC, but that's my bad, I obviously didn't look carefully. I would have appreciated drinkable water to refill my bottle, I don't like paying high prices and generating plastic waste. I think the big 20-liter bottles are less than 3 dollars.
