The location is close to everything, walking distance to everywhere except the gorge.

This is a good base for going further north. I didn't go further than Mossman gorge. Going further north is what people should do.

We arrived early and were able to check in, no problem. The male/female were very welcoming. On our second day, the manager saw us putting our towels out to dry (after we had been out all day) and happily offered us and came by with fresh ones. Mossman Gorge is about 4km from the motel.

- • Our room had no microwave but one was available to use at the well-stocked outdoor ‘shared kitchen’, which we declined using. The plumbing needed urgent attention in the shower and basin.
