- • Like to have a beer with tea and the restaurant doesn't have it on the menu but realised you could order a beer and it would be brought down from the bar
Exceptional Care When We Needed It Most
After an accident that happened outside the hotel, we had to extend our stay for a few extra days while a family member recovered. Throughout this difficult period, the entire Damai team was incredibly supportive and made us feel at home. We needed a wheelchair during our stay, which the hotel kindly provided, and we found all the facilities to be very accessible. Moving around the resort and even inside our room was easy and comfortable. We are truly grateful to the staff and the hotel facilities, which were a great help during a challenging time for our family. Thank you for your kindness, care, and support.

Damai Lagoon stay will never go wrong
The restaurant improves a lot, since I was first checked in in March 2026, food more tasty. The staff also quite helpful all the time of my stay. Overall... I have to give a thumbs up... thank you

- • The hazardous air quality caused by the palm oil forest burn offs! We felt sorry for the locals & holiday makers.
Our room did not match the size of our group.
I would have liked to make some compliments about the view and the pool but our welcome went very wrong. The welcome left us with a bad memory.

- • We had booked for 2 adults and 2 children and we ended up with only one bed for 4. We had to pay an additional 130E for an extra bed. After half a day of explanations and then a lot of irritation, when it was time to go to bed, exhausted and late in the evening, we were moved to another room. Many noisy groups on the weekend. And the rooms are not soundproofed. The breakfast is not good.
The room was big. The breakfast had an excellent selection. There are a lot of activities that the resort offers. The TV had a selection of movies that we could watch which made the stay very pleasant

- • The AC was set at one temperature and we couldn't control it. The coconut bar could benefit more non-alcoholic options. The pool may have needed more maintenance
