- • The property is pitched as luxury but misses the key customer service you would expect. Waiting times in the bar way too long, general attitude of staff seems overly friendly and at times even aloof - we along with almost everyone we encountered in the bar area had to chaser servers, or even go to the restaurant to get assistance. The flow of the hotel itself is very weird - Reception sits in the middle of the ground floor between the bar seating area and the bar. Group arrivals turn up with their cases, chatting loudly and checking in whilst you try to enjoy your expensive cocktails. Oh and ... walking through a velvet curtain into a hotel reception isn't luxurious....or mysterious, it is ODD. From online pictures, the vibe looks cool, but being there just feels staged and unnatural. We really wanted to like this hotel and we got a great weekend price, but even at that price we wouldn't stay again.

Luxurious hotel, great value for money
Arrived early and reception staff were so welcoming, they allowed us to check much earlier than normal. Rooms are very luxurious and well furnished and spotless, sound-proofing is great, we did not hear a thing all weekend from the hallways or surrounding rooms! Amenities are great, AC is very good and cold, rainfall shower is nice. Housekeeping does a great job of making the rooms each day. Location is very handy, being right on the motorway, only thing is at the weekends, none of the surrounding shops/cafes in the business park are open. You are only 20 minutes from Glasgow, so this was not really an issue. We had rented a car, but there are buses from the business park as another option. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was great value for money. The hotel is very elite looking, well maintained and all the staff are lovely. Would really highly recommend!
