Well, it is important to understand the concept: each room is actually a small apartment at the top of the village. Charming and comfortable set allowing access to the beautiful village outside of tourist peak hours. Efficient room service. Very helpful / kind / efficient valet.

- • Distance / coldness of the reception staff.
Enjoyed our stay, but disappointed with the prices - the room is already at a premium price.
World-class location - and that's what you are paying for. The room was really nice, couldn't be better, and the view from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking. Food and drink are excellent, and the hotel boasts a very impressive wine list. Staff are extremely polite and helpful - although they could check more frequently, perhaps, if more attention is required at the tables... Be aware, however, that all extras are significantly overpriced - especially wine, food, cocktails, etc. If you eat and drink in the hotel while you are a guest, be prepared for a sizable extra bill. In other hotels of this caliber - and even at a lower price - elsewhere in the world, things like having your towels made into a swan shape, with rose petals sprinkled on the bed come standard - Chateau Eza charges a huge premium - and I do mean huge - for such.

- • The breakfast was ridiculously expensive and of very low quality, the orange juice was supposed to be fresh and was not, pastries also not fresh.
