Its a great hostel in a lovely old building
It's conveniently located, has a great kitchen, and is clean and quiet. Extra layers were provided for my bed on the cold Dunedin nights.

- • Concerned about carpet on stairs quite tatty and worn. Could pose hazard could get a heel caught on it and trip. Needs repairs and those plastic with metal heel strip fitted. 2nd-floor shower heads in very poor condition. Parking very hard to get. Third-floor stairwell door very hard to maneuver especially with bags a 2-way or sliding door would be safer.
