- • The facilities are not new, but this is part of the ambience of a typical local house. The room and bathroom are very small, but it's good value for money.
Excellent accommodation
The room, facilities, and the breakfast were all perfect for our needs. The host was friendly and amusing. He immediately offered to swap our room for a ground floor room upon learning that my wife has Parkinson's.

- • Can't say I was impressed, when I got there Ciaran promptly kept me in the hall projecting their political views onto me (where in his head did he think I'd be interested in this subject) when all I wanted was to go to my room. The room was clean enough albeit dated. The shower room had hair in the plug hole, there was a dirty towel to stand on and the water was only just hot enough. Breakfast was disappointing to say the least and on the 2nd day I sat on a sticky unclean chair, was offered a filthy stained cloth to wipe myself then a dry cloth (we got there eventually with a clean wet cloth), no offer of compensation, not even an apology just a comment about having a difficult Breakfast. One good thing was that he allowed my daughter to park on the drive which was gratefully received and acknowledged. I checked out early and won't be booking to stay here again, was not worth the amount of money I paid for it. Everything seemed very meagre, I got the impression that the owner is a bit tight fisted and only wants to offer the bare minimum basics
