Great hotel/room/staff
Greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk. Very pleasant with a sense of humour. Great apartment style room. Top quality and cleanliness! Feels new! Slightly more expensive than I had hoped to pay but when you compare it to many others in the same price range, it is so much nicer. Highly recommend!

Walked in and Sukh, was so warm and friendly! Got to the room and it is perfect!! Location is great. Easy to get to, near everything!

Humbling experience I’ll stay at a real hotel next time
Do not expect any kind of better treatment as a diamond member. I’ve never been treated so poorly at an hotel. The price on points was crazy high I should have booked a suite at the doubletree hotel for a lower cost. Likely the last time I book this hotel I usually am a staybridge regular or elements but they were sold out. I got assigned a king suite and after I brought all my bags upstairs I then received a phone call on my cellphone to downgrade me to a closet room in the lobby (I could hear all the come and going) . Litterally could have parked at the front and walk 5 metres with all my 5 bags instead of the extra 2 kms from going from the parkade to upstairs and then down the hallway downstairs and did anyone offer assistance to help with the move ? No not at all. The standard room at most other IHG hotel in the area is good but this one is not a thing. Also the door didn’t lock fully very reassuring as a single woman traveller 🙄. He also pretended that I couldn’t cancel cause I booked on points which isn’t true as I’ve done it before and I booked 45 minutes before my arrival.
