There was no breakfast. There were no staff so the staff question is not applicable. There was lots of space and great amenities. The location was great.

- • The only drawback is that the location was also right above a nightclub patio. I was there to enjoy the nightlife so I didn't mind it being noisy until late at night. Sometimes during the afternoon you could still hear music and noise from the patio.
Must stay, stop looking elsewhere
The location of the hotel is perfect - all the stores, cafes, and anything downtown Halifax is walkable. The check in was very easy to follow. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for my family of 4. People have complained about the noise, each room came equipped with ear plugs if needed - we did not need them. This is our new go to spot when staying in Halifax.

Great location and spacious suite with lots of potential, but maintenance, cleanliness, noise, and customer service issues
The suite was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a comfortable feel. The fully equipped kitchen was a great feature, and the location was excellent for exploring Halifax. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. The staffless check-in was also very convenient and easy to use.

- • There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a wiggly bathroom faucet, makeup stains on some towels, a broken oven drawer, and a shower drain that did not drain properly and left you standing in water. We also noticed a sewage-like smell in the hallway and eventually inside our suite. Communication was also disappointing — after initially receiving a quick response, two follow-up emails went unanswered, even after we had checked out. The noise from the bar below was extremely loud, although we were warned about this beforehand.
