The Brittania Hotel is the perfect place to stay when you visit the historical city of Trondheim.
The location of the Britannia Hotel is within walking distance to all the highlights of Trondheim. The entire staff was exceptional: professional, friendly and helpful. Standouts were the concierges, and doormen. Lief at Reception went above and beyond finding historical information about my ancestors and my great grandfather who moved to America in 1871. The breakfast was the very best of our 16 day Scottish and Norway trip.

- • Trip was too short.
A superb hotel, very good facilities and superb staff.
One of the very best hotels in Trondheim and Norway. Expensive, yes, but certainly worth it. Service, facilities excellent, the food is dangerously good, especially the breakfast is superb!

- • On one occasion decaf cappuccino was impossible to serve, but ordinary Coffee was offered as substitute, which is not a good solution for a coffee lover with intolerance for caffeine. Otherwise everything was perfect and I will certainly be back!
Comfortable, quiet and great

- • A couple of days before departure, I had changed my booking with Booking.com to include breakfast (which was not initially included). I had also upgraded my room. None of this information reached the hotel, so upon arrival, I was informed that I had to pay for breakfast. Fortunately, I had a printout from my last booking with Booking.com, stating that breakfast was included. - The hotel was very flexible when I showed them the printout, and I had no further problems. However, I was not aware if the room had been upgraded. The room we got, though, was impeccable, but with a view of a brick wall.
