Check-in was simple and it was a beautiful and spacious room. The layout of the room was good, well decorated and interesting. If I were to stay again, I would ask for that room again. A great use of space. I had a good night's sleep, feeling secure and homely. My host was attentive and made me feel welcome and loved. The breakfast was fabulous and I would definitely stay again.

- • This is not a dislike, as the stay was superb. It is a bit out from the center, however it's a nice walk to burn a few calories. The reason this is not a negative is, I booked the accommodation due to its close location to the Amtrak station 👍

I liked the location, which is relatively close to Niagara Falls, which are easily reachable even on foot, the breakfasts are excellent, the host Karen is very friendly and accommodating. I also gladly took advantage of the option to rent trekking bikes with helmets.

- • Everything was almost perfect, but I would be happy if breakfast was also offered, for example, from 8 to 9 o'clock, for those of us who are a bit earlier.

Nice stay at Blue Gables.
The place is clean. The interior of the house is designed in a vintage style. Very friendly host, Karen, who makes a delicious breakfast for you.

- • Unfortunately, there are a few things I didn't like. First, the smell inside the house is not very pleasant, and there are many air fresheners around, probably to hide it, and I can understand that, the house is old. Second, the bed in our room was very creaky and shaky. Third, the HVAC is so loud that I couldn't turn it on at night. Even with earplugs, I couldn't bear the noise.
Nice cozy place.
It's a nice cozy place. Easy walk to the falls if you feel like it; if not, the bus stop is close by. Even if you have a car, we would suggest using the bus! It's much easier, almost like a hop in, hop out. $20 for 48 hours.

- • There was nothing I didn't like. It's not a high-end hotel and we didn't expect room service or daily room cleaning. But whatever we wanted was provided.
Highly recommend, better than expected
Had a very comfortable spacious room. The common areas were ample. The breakfast was outstanding, and the host was sweet and very responsive.
