I must say it was my excellent visit to Ben's homestay.. if you want anything, you just name it and in a few minutes, it's in your room... Phuto, Ben, and all the family are so loving and caring... a must-stay over here.

Wonderful location and room with welcoming and kind hosts.
Wonderful place to stay, in a great location. The rooms were spacious and clean with a great bathroom. The grounds are beautiful. They were very accommodating and kind with refrigerating important medication in their personal room.

- • This is not the fault of Ben’s homestay, according to booking.com breakfast was included, which it wasn’t. They offer breakfast at a very reasonable rate, and there are great places to eat nearby.
Relaxing oasis
Peaceful garden that feels like paradise. The Deluxe room is really spacious. The hosts are great and very welcoming. The stay hits way above its price range. The Koi pond with decade-old specimens is a bonus. There is a temple on the street at the end of the garden, where you can hear gamelan being performed, if you stay during celebrations.

As it is a homestay, all family members were kind and friendly. They greeted me every time we met, which made me very happy. There is no refrigerator or hanger in the room, but they can lend you one. The garden is full of greenery and very lovely, despite being easily accessible, it is very quiet.

Attention! There is active construction near the room! At least for 6 months
I was here in February, I liked this house. It was calm and cozy. BUT. When I arrived in May, it turned out that construction of a new homestay had started next door. The construction starts at 8 in the morning. Attention, travelers! At 8 in the morning, builders will be hammering and sawing concrete next to your room. Keep this in mind.

- • The young owner of this house did not want to refund me when I wanted to cancel the accommodation due to the construction next to my room. Although his father said the money would be returned. The young owner was angry with my decision and rude. He said I do not respect the Balinese. He is wrong. I have been living in Bali for 4 years and have great respect for the locals, who are always kind and hospitable to me. I believe that the young owner of this house does not respect his guests if he cannot agree with his neighbors to start the construction at least at 10 in the morning. I came to Ubud for the weekend to relax, so I rented a room from him. Not to wake up at 8 in the morning from the noise of construction and leave him feeling unwell
The room is spacious, clean and has lots of furniture, a beautiful garden, very quiet at night for a good rest, good walking distance to the busy streets. WiFi is good
