Great location and restoration. Bathrooms could use better functionality.
You cannot ask for a better location in Old Town than Belmondo Suites. It's very close to Hadrian's Gate and right in the thick of the historic area. The hotel is actually housed in two different buildings -- separated by about a minute long walk (not next door, but close enough). They are beautiful old buildings; one with the restaurant and the other with the pool and breakfast area. The restaurant is outstanding. Great food and a lot of fun when there is live music.

- • Unfortunately, the bathroom was designed with form in mind rather than function. It offered zero privacy (the double doors are ridged glass) and the freestanding basin is designed in such a way that when you turn the water on it places absolutely everywhere. We also had the unfortunate experience of rooming next to a family that yelled and made a ridiculous amount of noise at all hours. The first night I called the front desk at 12:30am, and a phone call was made the other room (I could hear it through the wall) and the family quieted down. The last day we were there I stopped at the front desk to arrange a taxi for our next day's departure and I mentioned the family. I was told "they are Indian. That's just how they are." While I appreciate candor, this statement was both racist and unhelpful. That night the noise hit epic proportions. It's indescribable, and unfathomable that anyone could be so loud at such an hour of the night and have zero awareness or concern for their neighbors. Their kids were young (under 10) and still awake and making noise after midnight. We opened the door at one point to go knock on their door and another couple were also in the hall trying to decide what to do. I knocked on their door twice and they did not answer. My daughter went down to reception (we had already called once earlier in the night and nothing had been done) and returned with the staff member on duty -- a 17-year-old intern we'd been introduced to upon our arrival. I cannot emphasize enough how well this young man handled the situation. HOWEVER, no intern should be left to deal with that on their own. It was disappointing that the staff never offered a more permanent solution -- like moving us to another room -- and didn't do more to ensure all of the guests on the floor were able to get a decent night's sleep.

Beautiful historic building in a prime location. Small and dark room which is slightly overpriced but would stay again.
Wonderful location in a lovely setting. Bathroom was beautiful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The two buildings are extremely close so I really wouldn’t worry about whether your room is in one or the other. The Aperols at the Aperol terrace are fantastic!

- • Stayed in the deluxe room with the street view. Bedroom is very small and extremely dark. Slightly overpriced given the lack of space but you pay for the location and setting. Despite being very centrally located, we had no issues with outside noise.

Amazing hotel and staff - highly highly recommend!
Beautiful rooms and in an incredible location! I cannot recommend it enough. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff can’t do enough for you - they’re so kind and even made us a packed lunch ahead of an early flight. If you’re staying in Antalya, I’d strongly recommend this hotel!

Don't stay here if you want good sleep quality
We had the chance to try the hotel’s Turkish restaurant "Hare" and were genuinely impressed by the service. Every employee was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and helpful. Very genuine hospitality.

- • The hotel failed to provide the most basic thing you expect from a stay: sleep. We could hear extremely loud music from the surrounding bars until as late as 4 a.m. It was unbearable and made our stay very stressful and exhausting. We understand that some noise is to be expected when staying in such a central location, but we would also expect a hotel of this standard and price to have adequate soundproofing and noise isolation. Unfortunately, the experience was not worth the money, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and restful stay.
