Battiss House is our Pretoria home away from home for the past six years. Vincent and Darius are amazing hosts. Interior of the rooms and the surrounding garden is beautiful and their breakfasts are the best! The location is very central in Pretoria East, well connected to Lynnwood, Brooklyn and Waterkloof - close to The Village with excellent restaurants, coffee shops and interesting artisan shops. Highly recommended accomodation.

We had a lovely stay. We had everything that we needed, rooms were beautiful and breakfast was great

My room in the garden was cozy with antique furniture, an electric blanket, and a heater. Breakfast was fantastic!

- • Be patient when you want hot water in the basin or shower, as it takes very long to heat up. I think an indicator on the taps would help, as I started to wonder if the hot water was the other way around.
I loved every bit of the place and the staff, Vincent went out of his way to ensure my special requests were met. The breakfast was 5 star meals and enjoyed everything about it. This gem deserves annual visits for its beauty.
