- • The roof is noisy in the rain and wind so made it difficult to fall asleep one night.
Awesome family vacation spot on a farm - but a stone's throw from the city
We returned to Bartinney for our 2nd family visit. Both host and hostess Eugene and Carmen were outstanding in the services provided. We received permission to invite 2 guests for dinner in our cottage, and they graciously assisted us with making this possible. We enjoyed the early morning trail paths and atmosphere of a farm.

- • The beds in the two bedrooms were a bit small. A king size bed would gave been nice, but probably would not fit.
Fantastic winery including wine tasting. The staff is extremely accommodating and nice. The dear dogs were the greatest for our daughter. There are gas heaters in the accommodation if it gets too cold. We will gladly come back.

Luxury stay high above Stellenbosch on a wine estate.
Location perfect for our visit. Stunning views. Spacious calm cool accommodation. Excellent service very quick to respond to our various requests. Well equipped and wine tasting was a bonus

- • Indoors quite dark apart from bathrooms. Hot water had a long journey to taps.

- • There is not a 12-hour reception, you need to advise 20 minutes before you get there of your arrival and had to wait a bit. Lots of stairs, ok for hand luggage but not for big suitcases if you are in the loft.
