Hostel Ponta Delgada
Very nice building, close to the center and easy parking. Good quality/price for a double room. We only stayed one night but we were comfortable. We left very early so we couldn't enjoy breakfast.

- • It is not the typical backpacker hostel where you meet other travelers; the atmosphere felt a bit strange to me. It does not have a fridge or kitchen area. During the six days I stayed, they did not clean the shared room. They only changed the sheets, but the floor, trash, and the rest of the room remained dirty. In addition, some staff members were unfriendly. I would not return.
Good spot to stay. It is not far from the city and has everything you need.

Wonderful hostel in a historical building!
I honestly don’t understand why this hostel has such a low rating. We rarely stay in hostels, but we had a late-night flight and weren’t picking up our rental car until the next day, so we wanted to stay close to the airport for one night. We had a private room with a large, comfortable bed, and it was very quiet. For just €40, breakfast was even included, which was a nice bonus. The hostel is located in a beautiful historic house with a lovely courtyard, giving it a lot of charm. The shared bathrooms were clean, with separate facilities for women and men. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and think it’s an excellent budget-friendly option, especially for young travelers or anyone looking for a convenient overnight stay near the airport.

- • There was one crazy lady who I think forgot the password to the main door and she was knocking loudly and shouting during the night, this we did not like.
