A Lovely Motel in a Beautiful Town!
We had a wonderful experience at Aspen Court In Franz Josef. The location was perfect, well within walking distance of everything Franz Josef has to offer. The rooms were cozy and well equipped. We very much enjoyed relaxing in the room at the end of a long day and enjoying the lovely views. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were clean, of good size and comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked. Pam and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay for a few days.

Spacious and comfortable. Pricey but good value
We stayed here for a night on our way to the west coast. The motel was a good one and while it sits on the edge of town, Franz Josef is very small, so everything is still within easy reach. Check-in was quick, friendly and hassle-free. We stayed in a one-bedroom studio that was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with a handy kitchenette. The bedding was excellent and luxurious. A standout feature was the private jacuzzi bath, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the glaciers and surrounding area. Our room didn't have mountain views but there were beautiful mountain vistas visible from the car park. The property doesn't have its own restaurant, but that wasn't an issue as the King Tiger restaurant is right next door and served everything we were looking for. Overall, its well located and one of the nicer places to stay in the area.
