Lovely boutique hotel. Perfect for solo travelers or couple.
The location! It’s perfect for exploring Nice and other areas of France. I traveled solo and loved the area, very quiet and safe. The beach (Blue Beach @ Promenade des Anglais) is a 5-minute walk, the tram station (Alsace Lorraine) is a 7-minute walk, and the train station (Nice Ville) is a 15-minute walk. Easy 2-3 minute walk to restaurants, bakeries, fruit market, and grocery stores. The Nice Port (ferry) is accessible by tram or Uber. You can walk to the port along the Promenade des Anglais (maybe 25-30 minutes). My single room was adorable and comfortable. Pierre, the owner, was great! He assisted me with my bags. No elevator or lift but stairs are manageable. The French croissant was a nice treat every morning. Beach towel provided upon request.

- • No buffet breakfast. Breakfast available by special order. No dining area or courtyard to eat takeout meals. Mosquitoes were a problem for me.

- • It’s fairly basic - the shower was a bit dodgy - but fine for a short stay.
It could have been a lovely stay if it hadn’t been for the room issue.
I did, however, appreciate the location, Clement’s attitude, the cleanliness, and the two croissants left at the door in the morning.

- • I chose this stay to celebrate my birthday, but the experience was not at all what I had expected. I paid for a superior-quality room, but upon arrival, I was given an inferior one that was visibly much smaller. What was most frustrating was that the hotel did not honestly acknowledge the mistake and inform me from the start, but only after I raised the issue myself. After that, the management apologized and promised to refund the money to my account within 1–2 days, as the room I had booked was no longer available. Three days have already passed, but the amount has still not been refunded. I still hope that the hotel will keep its promise, otherwise I will complain to booking.com. By the way, this is the first time I have had such an experience on booking.com. Unfortunately, this unpleasant situation significantly overshadowed my birthday and left a very bitter impression.
